Quite plainly, I am NOT chopping my hair off and dying it bright pink. I'll probably end up just buying a hot pink Wisp wig from Cosworx.com. But if anyone has any cheaper alternatives, please share!

Ohhh! Elfen Lied! I love that series *~*.
Hm... From what I've seen, EBay can be reliable at times. There are some good cosplay stores that host their sales there. If all else fails, try searching for a wig meant for Haruno Sakura from Naruto. The hair style is somewhat similar. That's only a last resort, though.
Though I've never personally gotten anything from here, I've heard good things about [Cosplay Magic] <--- (Click~)
Searching local costume stores can help, too. Usually, that works best around Halloween, but you never know =o you might hit the jackpot. Also - I don't blame you for not wanting to mess with your hair xD; I'd never go to that length, either.
Well, I hope I helped. If not... well... I tried, I suppose. The horns should be fun to do.

Well, I don't have a specific wig, but amphigory.com/wigs.html has some really good, cheaper wigs. I've bought one from them before, and it was cheap for the type and pretty darn good quality. Make sure to read the description of the wig, though, and look through all the colors a wig is availible in before choosing. Lucy is a great cosplay- post some pics once you're done? *puppy eyes* If I find a specific wig, I'll let you know. Welcome to the site, by the way. :3

[H]ippo -- : I've tried Cosplay Magic, I don't quite remember if it had anything I liked or not There are a few wigs I'm interested in on eBay, but some of them would require restyling and I'm not sure if eBay is very reliable. This will be my first wig so I'm nervous about it DX I also have looked into wigs for both Sakura and Haruko from FLCL, but the problem with them is their hair color is more pastel pink, while Lucy's is like... a darker, bold pink. So they would definitely be a last resort. I actually had a haircut similar to Lucy's earlier this year, but I regretted getting the length chopped off like immediately afterwards. I'm a dork lol. But at least now my hair's long again! Thanks for your help though :3 @crow: I looked on amphigory.com, and again, the wigs I really liked were the expensive ones. -ded- I'll look again though. I didn't realize until recently that all the wigs came in colors besides the one featured in the picture, so I'm a little retarded. Oh, and I will post pictures, most likely. Almost every other time I cosplay, I'm still sewing stuff together in the car on the way to the con, so I hardly ever get time to take pictures. But Lucy's costume seems pretty simple and there's still plenty of time before Ohayocon so yay :3

There are a few wigs I'm interested in on eBay, but some of them would require restyling and I'm not sure if eBay is very reliable. Look at the seller's store and comments from other people. Most of the time, eBay is pretty good for wigs-- you just have to be careful about the wig not being too thin. That's the most common problem I've seen with certain sellers...

I have a few suggestions. ^.^
Here is a wig I found.
I haven't personally bought anything from this specific seller, but I have purchased a couple from similar ones. I bought this wig a few months back for my Karin cosplay and I loved it. (of course it wasn't styled at it's best in the picture, but still)
They are both made out of the same Kanekalon fiber which is popular among cosplayers and is amazing, I think. They are easy to style and are so soft like real hair. ~.~ Both colors are cherry pink which is Lucy's hair color. (in fact, sitting down with my cat ears on as Karin, I was mistaken for Lucy)
This wig's also rather cheap. And you might even be able to find the same wig for a little cheaper. If you type in "Cherry pink wigs" in the search engine it will give you some more wigs to browse.
Despite them not being from the same seller, they could also be considering their stuff is rather similiar. >> Sellers like to do that to make more money.

That looks like a great wig. I think I've seen it before, but passed it over while searching. My only complaint is that most of the hot pink/cherry pink wigs on eBay are longer, and I wouldn't trust myself with a pair of scissors, especially since the hair won't grow back D: Plus the longer pink wigs are gorgeous, and I wouldn't want to ruin their prettiness.

Yus. D: You have to be careful with that. Especially all the money and time you spent getting it.
That wig looks like a nice length for Lucy's though. (Depending on your head/neck size/length.) Even still, it shouldn't be too off that it is noticeable anyway.

I showed the wig to my mother and she approves, lol. She's the one with a paypal account, and therefore the one who will be buying it for me x3
I think I've found the right wig! Thank you. <3
